Psychiatry and therapy, and what each is for
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can assess, diagnose and manage medication. A psychologist offers talk therapy. They often work together, and your psychologist will suggest a psychiatric consultation if it seems useful. You do not need a referral to book either.
If you would like talk therapy in a language other than English or Hindi, our team also speaks Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. Who speaks what is listed on the team page.
