She holds an M.Phil from the Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS), Ranchi, completed in 2014: the licensed clinical training that hospitals hire for, at one of India’s most prestigious mental health institutes, founded in 1925. She worked as a Research Officer on an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru; ICMR is a Government of India medical research body, and NIMHANS is India’s leading mental health institute, often called the AIIMS of mental health, and an Institute of National Importance by Act of Parliament. During her training she assessed and treated more than 500 patients at RINPAS and at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, India’s premier institute for speech and hearing, under the Government of India’s Ministry of Health.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You’re welcome here.

She works with adolescents, young adults and adults who are trying to make sense of their experiences. Many of her clients come with concerns related to overthinking, career, self-doubt, bullying, feelings of inferiority, personality patterns, emotional difficulties, social isolation, shame, burnout, dating, trust issues, relationships, marriage, family dynamics and past experiences that continue to affect them.

Her work focuses on helping clients understand their attachment patterns, relationships and the challenges that come with adolescence and adulthood. She explores how past and present experiences shape one’s sense of self, relationships and ways of being in the world.

She also works with women dealing with body image concerns, low self-esteem, past trauma, anxiety and depression. She supports clients in learning how to set boundaries and feel more stable and secure in their relationships. In addition, she works with parents, women in the postpartum phase and working women managing multiple roles and responsibilities.

Her approach is humanistic, reflective and compassionate. She follows an integrative approach and is a certified practitioner in CBT, MBT and trauma-informed care.

She believes in a process-oriented way of working, where life stories, personal narratives and practical strategies come together to support growth and change. She aims to create a space that is safe, respectful and sensitive to each client’s cultural background and lived experiences.

She also has a keen interest in training and mentoring other clinicians in her areas of expertise.

"Therapy to me is creating a safe space where the client can just be and speak freely — that space which allows one to work on mental health and wellness, leading to personal growth and evolving." — Anamika Rawlani

I work in an IT company in Ontario, and since therapy is quite expensive here, I started looking for therapists online. That's when I came across Rooh Mind Care.

I honestly felt a sense of relief when I found the right therapist for me, Divyanshi Tolani. She is very sweet, understanding and one of the most compassionate therapists I've come across. She was also very flexible with my time zone and was kind enough to accommodate my sessions whenever I needed them.

If you have any time zone issues, don't forget to mention it to the Rooh Mind Care team. They are very understanding and will definitely try to accommodate your request.
